What a rush! Fly Above the Ka’anapali Coastline on Zipline

Fly Above Kaanapali on Skyline

Soar high above the Pacific Ocean with zipline. At Kahana Village, you are conveniently close to Maui’s best zipline tour Skyline Eco Adventures. Father and son, Buck and Danny, started the first zipline in the United States after an inspirational trip to Costa Rica. In 2002, the slopes at Haleakala became the first commercial tour. Ka’anapali’s beach course was launched in 2007.

The wind in your hair and the adrenaline rush will make you feel incredibly alive. It’s just the escape you need on vacation! Nervous guests are common but they quickly overcome it as they realize how fun the course is. The first lines tend to be shorter and ease you into longer, more thrilling ziplines. General Manager Erik McLellan says “We have a large number of guests that actually get over a life-long fear of heights because they came on one of our courses.”

The company focuses on giving back to the island through education and monetary donations. Since 2002, they have donated over $1 million to non-profits. Skyline also focuses on extensive native reforestation efforts. At each course ziplines are named after a different aspect of Hawaiian ecology, geography, history or agriculture. This complementary information gives guests valuable insight into life in Hawaii.

Where you’re staying on the West side of the island, the award winning Ka’anapali tour lets you fly above the Pacific Coastline. This location offers a choice between either 8 or 11 lines. The 8-line tour will take about 3.5 hours, including a snack break and commentary on Hawaii from the friendly tour guides. Expect them to show you their zipline skills and crack jokes about fallen zipliners! The 11-line tour takes about 4 hours and includes a double racing line, where you can challenge a family member or friend to see who finishes faster!

The beautiful coastal drive from Kahana to the zipline in Ka’anapali will take about 8 to 10 minutes. Ka’anapali tours vary and start with children 10-years and up.

Don’t miss out! Book your vacation rental today with Kahana Village and contact Skyline Adventures to experience Maui from the sky.
